Location. The Riu Lupita All Inclusive is framed by a golf course and the tropical vegetation that flourishes within the planned community of Playacar, near Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Hotel Features. Six restaurants and bars are Available at the hotel, including Adelita that serves international and local specialties. Maria Bonitas prepares authentic Mexican fare. Guests can access the Internet via dial up connections. Recreation includes dancing for guests who are age 18 and over at Pacha, the resort's disco. Nightly live shows with musical themes, such as Mexican folklore, are staged at the open air theater. One of the hotel's two outdoor pools features a shallow children's area. The on site kid's club provides supervised programs and a playground for children four through 12. Renova Spa offers hairstyling, nail treatments, henna tattoos, facials, body wraps and aromatherapy massage. Windsurfing, snorkeling and kayaking are available. The resort offers two lighted, hard surface tennis courts.
Guestrooms. The resort's 300 guestrooms are contained in one , two , and three story villa style buildings. All rooms feature views of the surrounding gardens, jungle or golf course. Tropical living is emphasized with bright art prints, marble tiled floors and screened glass doors that lead to private furnished balconies or terraces. Rooms feature air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite television, safe deposit boxes, stocked minibars and liquor dispensers.
Expert Tip. The hotel's beach club is located on Playa del Carmen's main beach. Shuttle transportation to the beach club is provided every half hour from morning until early evening.
