Location. The Playacar Palace All Inclusive stands alongside the Cozumel Ferry dock in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The Playacar Spa & Golf Club is located one kilometer from this property. Hotel Features. Several on site dining venues accommodate guests, including Café del Mar that serves international and Mexican fare, and MoMoNoHana, known for its elegant Asian cuisine. Poolside and lobby bars remain open until late in the evening. Complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the hotel and multi function rooms accommodate corporate or social needs. Recreation includes use of an outdoor pool with a swim up bar, two tennis courts that are illuminated after dark, and a sauna. Off site entertainment can be arranged by the hotel's concierge. For a fee, a spa that overlooks the golf course is available at the Playacar Spa & Golf Course. Use of this club's pool and fitness center is complimentary for Playacar Palace guests. Supervised child care features crafts, and indoor and outdoor games.
Guestrooms. This two story hotel offers 208 contemporary guestrooms with Palace Beds. Beds are comprised of double cushioned pillowtop mattresses designed with better edge to edge support. The mattress also features an extra layer of insulation and padding. Beds are topped with high thread count sheets, decorative duvets, shams, bed scarves and skirts. All king and double beds include five synthetic and goose down pillows. Liquor dispensers and minibars are stocked with soft drinks, water and domestic beer. Bathrooms offer Farouk bath amenities and jetted tubs accommodate two people. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. The room's clean lines feature muted, earth tone color schemes.
Expert Tip. Two separate ferries operate between Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. Both ferries offer beer, soda and juices, and have televisions aboard in the possible event that select tourists may prefer viewing broadcasts as opposed to scanning the panoramic ocean vistas. Take Hwy 307 S for 40 miles. Follow signs to Playacar. Turn left into the Playacar Resort area.
